As a six year old boy Eric Carle and his parents moved to Germany. Here he went to school and graduated in Stuttgart at Prestigious Art School. Eric always dreamed of returning to America, the place of his greatest childhood memories. Later on, Eric got married to a woman named Barbara also known as Bobbie. Eric has a sister named Christa, who is 21 years younger than him. Barbara and Eric have two children, his daughter Christen, and his son Rolf.
